Maquoketa Valley Electric Cooperative is a member of Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO), Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  CIPCO is also a not-for-profit Cooperative established for the purpose of generating and transmitting power to its members.  CIPCO provides a balanced mix of power sources to the Cooperative for distribution to our own members.
