Consumer Deposit A Consumer Deposit is equal to the highest bill for the previous twelve-month period at the location which service is requested. Returned Check Charge A $25.00 charge will be assessed to the account for any checks (paper or electronic) not honored due to insufficient funds. A 1.5% charge will be calculated on the unpaid balance that is due after the 28th of the month and will be assessed to the account.
A $50.00 charge (plus taxes) is required when the service is disconnected for non-payment and reconnection is made during regular business hours prior to 3:00 p.m.
Overtime Reconnection Fee - a $75.00 charge (plus taxes) is required when the service is disconnected for non-payment and reconnection is made after 3:00 p.m.
A $25.00 charge (plus taxes) will be assessed to the account if a representative of the Cooperative travels to the location to post for disconnect or to receive payment at the time of disconnect.
